2025 Winter Fundraiser
Every day in Ithaca, families face impossible choices — between rent and groceries, between medicine and child care, between a Christmas dinner and presents. At No Más Lágrimas – No More Tears, we stand with them. We are neighbors helping neighbors — providing food, diapers, warm meals, and dignity to hundreds of families across Tompkins County.
Our work began with a simple belief: no one in our community should struggle alone. This season, our community is in dire need of assistance. With SNAP benefits reduced and the cost of living rising, many of our neighbors are finding it harder than ever to put food on the table. These cuts have shed light on just how precarious it is to live with food insecurity — how quickly a family’s stability can unravel when support systems are weakened. At No Más Lágrimas, we see this every day in the faces of parents skipping meals so their children can eat, and elders stretching a few groceries to last the week.
But we can’t do this alone.
Your support helps us keep the doors open and the shelves stocked. It helps a mother feed her children. It helps elders feel seen and valued. It helps young people believe in the power of community.
